Game Play
The party has been evicted from Freona's and heads down the street. They are confronted by Tehlmar the Fortunate and two Knight / Guards. The party recognizes him from the barn in Session 1. Tehlmar lists his grievances
- He is surprised that it is all of you - rather than just "The Oracle" / Mauracle (he thinks the party were just henchmen)
- You gave us a fake Dragon Egg
- You planted a tracking device on me - did you not think that we would not detect this?
- You humiliated the Thieves' Guild and personally scarred me for life
The party finds out that Tehlmar is the one who put a reward on the Mauracle - who said (against mission rules) in S1 "I am Oracle" which Tehlmar took to be "I am Oracle".
Brival has snuck away to a nearby building to scout out the action. He sees a Wizard preparing to cast a spell from a scroll. Brival attacks the MU with a bow, but the Wizard (after being grievously wounded) turns Invisible and jumps off the side of the building and escapes.
Grisnak, Malachar and Mothy rush to attack Tehlmar's group - the Knights engage by Tehlmar uses the moment to run away!
Meanwhile from behind, Nox and Mauricle are attacked from behind by 3 Goblins and a Hobgoblin. Hand-to-hand combat ensues after a brief flurry of arrows.
Victorious, the party now looks for a new place to stay and further adventures!
