Game Play
The party search the body part storage room - arms and legs of various ages, races, and states of decomposition are stacked everywhere. The cultists that Nox had sighted earlier have disappeared. They destroy what they can and move south.
The party enters the Cultist sleeping quarters. An Ogre Zombie bursts throw the opposite door, followed by several Ghouls.
Malachar leads the charge and starts attacking the Ogre Zombie. The Ghouls stream into the room, some going for Malachar, others headed for the party. Mauxracle does Sacred Flame; Grishnak and Mothy charge in; Nox hangs back to cast Eldritch Blast, which Brival fires arrows safely from a distance.
Grishnak calls upon his inner powers and does Abjure Enemy on the Ogre Zombie, freezing it in Fear. Mauxracle quickly follows up with Turn Undead, sending two of the Ghouls screaming and running away. One is struck down by Malachar as he attempts to flee. The party - especially Mothy - make short work of the remaining undead.
Having defeated the Greater Evil, Grishnak runs up the stairs from the Sleep Quarter southwards, followed by Mauxracle.
In the Laboratory, they confront the Cultists. The Leader has no eyes, but looks directly at the intruders and says that he is The Servant of the Unnamed God. Nox, hearing this collapses suddenly with a blinding pain within his head.
Grishnak attacks, fending off a Hold spell and with the help of Malachar quickly defeats the Cleric. The cultists continue their Unholy work, ignoring the party. Nox screams out the name of Glayas and destroys the the cultist leaders unholy symbol. He uses Burning Hands as two of the acolytes walk pass and in a rage hacks the other two cultists to pieces.
The party discovers a hidden treasure trove - with much gold and many Magic Items. Likely this comes from the many corpses they have been looting. They also discover a map of the dungeon showing exits into sewers and other underground passages, and a broader map of Holoðton showing some underground passages and the location of churches around the town.
